Barcelona Tops Europe as the Best Home Team This Season

Barcelona achieved its eleventh consecutive victory in 11 matches played as the home team in the Spanish league, becoming the only team in Spain, England, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, the Netherlands, and Belgium to have won all its home matches this season.
Despite playing its home matches in three different stadiums: Montjuïc, Johan Cruyff, and Spotify Camp Nou, coach Hans Flick’s team outperformed all clubs in the eight major European leagues in terms of home results, achieving 11 victories, scoring 34 goals, and conceding only 5 goals.
Defensively, Barcelona’s record is among the best in Europe, having conceded only five goals in 11 matches, a record surpassed only by Paris Saint-Germain, Porto, and Union Saint-Gilloise in their local leagues.
The Catalan team also kept clean sheets in six matches against Valencia, Getafe, Athletic Bilbao, Osasuna, Oviedo, and Real Mallorca, while facing strong home matches against Levante, Villarreal, Sevilla, Rayo Vallecano, Espanyol, Celta Vigo, Real Madrid, and Real Betis until the end of the season.
