Barcelona Announces Extension of Fermín López’s Contract

The contract was signed after the team’s morning training session, in preparation for the match against Real Mallorca in La Liga. The signing ceremony was attended by club president Joan Laporta, first vice president Rafa Yuste, and football director Anderson Luís de Souza ‘Deco’, along with Juan Soler and members of the sports committee.
Fermín is a graduate of the La Masia academy and previously played on loan at Linares before joining the first team. He has an impressive scoring ability, having scored 29 goals with the first team, making him an essential part of coach Hans Flick’s lineup.
After signing the contract, Fermín expressed his happiness to continue with the club, noting the significant development he achieved under Hans Flick’s leadership. He also thanked his former coach Xavi Hernández, who gave him the opportunity to make his first appearance with the first team.
The 22-year-old concluded his statements by affirming his ambition to continue developing and achieving titles with Barcelona, emphasizing his desire to delight the fans and make history with the club in the coming seasons.
