Atalanta Advances to Italian Cup Semifinals with Victory over Juventus

Atalanta Club achieved a major surprise by eliminating Juventus from the 2025/2026 Italian Cup, after defeating them 3-0 in the quarterfinal match held on Thursday evening at the New Balance Arena, securing their spot in the semifinals deservedly.

Gianluca Scamacca opened the scoring for Atalanta in the 27th minute with a penalty kick, before Kamaldeen Sulemana extended the lead with the second goal in the 77th minute.

Mario Pasalic completed the hat-trick in the 85th minute, confirming his team’s dominance and control over the match.

With this victory, Atalanta advances to the Italian Cup semifinals, where they await the winner of the Bologna vs Lazio quarterfinal match, while Juventus has officially exited the tournament.
