Kovač Defends Dortmund’s Transfer Policy

Head coach Niko Kovac defended Borussia Dortmund’s transfer policy, emphasizing that not signing players during the winter transfer window was a well-considered decision due to the difficulty of acquiring a good key player at this point in the season.
He added that the club did not see a strong reason to enter the market in January, considering that the best option was to continue building on the available elements.
Kovač also noted that the team is preparing for a tough match against Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga next week, and the team must remain focused and not fall back under high expectations, despite holding a strong position in the Bundesliga standings.
He emphasized that he is primarily focused on securing a spot in the Champions League for the next season, highlighting the importance of victories in the upcoming matches.
