Bayern Munich Extends Serge Gnabry’s Contract Until 2028

Gnabry is 30 years old and has been with the team since 2017, during which he has won six Bundesliga titles, the UEFA Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup, and several other championships.
Max Eberl, a board member, said: “Serge Gnabry has become a key pillar in the team, and he is very important both on and off the field. He has won everything with the club and still aspires for more, which makes him a role model and reflects the spirit of Bayern.”
For his part, Christoph Freund, the sporting director, expressed his happiness with the player’s stay: “Everyone can see the great value that Gnabry adds to our style of play. He is a versatile player, fast, skilled in ball control and scoring, and his personality within the team is very important.”
Gnabry said: “I am excited to continue with Bayern for additional years. I never imagined when I started here that I would be part of the club for ten years by the end of this decade. The reasons for renewing are the team, the coaches, the entire club, the fans, the city, and the environment. I feel at home with Bayern.”
During his career with the team, Gnabry played 311 official matches, scoring 100 goals and providing 69 assists. He won six league titles, two German Cups, the UEFA Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, and five domestic Super Cups.
