Hakimi Deprives Paris Saint-Germain of His Services in the French Clasico

The Disciplinary Committee of the French Football League announced on Wednesday evening the disciplinary sanctions for the matches of the 20th round of the league competition.

Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, a player for Paris Saint-Germain, topped the list of penalized players, a decision that disrupted the coaching staff’s plans ahead of the anticipated Clasico match against Olympique Marseille.

The committee decided to suspend Hakimi for one match, in addition to another suspended match, due to receiving a direct red card during his team’s match against Strasbourg, following a strong tackle in the 75th minute on player Joaquin Panticelli.

It has been officially confirmed that the Moroccan full-back will miss the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Marseille, scheduled for next Sunday at the “Parc des Princes” stadium, in a clash considered one of the major highlights of the French league this season.
