Massimiliano Allegri, the coach of Milan, confirmed that his team still has a significant margin for development, despite the convincing 3-0 away victory against Bologna in the match held on Tuesday evening. This was achieved despite the absence of several prominent stars such as Rafael Leão, Christian Pulisic, and Alexis Saelemaekers.

The coach said: “Nkunku and Loftus-Cheek are players of great quality. We knew the match would be difficult because Bologna is a defensively organized team and dangerous in their style of play. The players performed well both defensively and offensively.”

Despite the big result, the AC Milan coach emphasized the need to improve certain aspects, adding: “It was a good match, but in my opinion, we need to improve our ball management. We played well because Nkunku and Loftus-Cheek gave us depth and helped us retain possession.”

Regarding what he liked most about his team’s performance, he explained: “It was important to reach 50 points because our goal from the start was to finish the season in the top four. We defended excellently after taking a 3-0 lead, and not conceding goals is always a positive.”
