Manchester City Identifies Alternatives to Guardiola

According to the British newspaper “The Telegraph,” there is a growing feeling that this season might be Guardiola’s last as the head coach of Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, despite some sources within the club denying these speculations.
The newspaper indicated that the City management has three prominent names at the top of the list of candidates: Xabi Alonso, the former coach of Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen, Enzo Maresca, the former Chelsea coach, and Cesc Fabregas, the coach of Italian club Como.
According to the same source, Xabi Alonso is considered one of the most prominent options, especially after the remarkable successes he achieved previously with Bayer Leverkusen, despite his recent dismissal from coaching Real Madrid. Enzo Maresca is also highly regarded within the club, following his experience with Chelsea, in addition to being one of the coaches who have previously worked under Guardiola.
As for Cesc Fabregas, the newspaper described him as an unconventional choice, but he continues to build his coaching reputation after an impressive performance with Como, even though taking on a role as significant as managing Manchester City might seem premature in his career.
The report emphasized that succeeding Guardiola will not be an easy task, given the significant successes he achieved with Manchester City, most notably winning six Premier League titles, in addition to the UEFA Champions League and several other major tournaments.
